Calm down, all you Veteran drivers....

I actually didnt get an owners manual when I bought the car so yeah this is all new to me....I mean come on I came from a Rustang GT all this import VTEC talk is all new to me....but Im doing my homework for the most part... asking stupid questions and reading as much as I can on this website....

Thanks anyway for the rude but well guided comments from some, and the kind understanding comments from others....

Im sure you will all be seeing my ignorant posts......

Dont sweat it dude, when I first bought my car I did the same shit. In all seriousness though, take some time to check out the owners manual to learn a little bit. I would also suggest letting the engine warm up each time before driven or at least driven hard. If you take care you your car, it will take care of you I removed my air box cover as well and I dont notice any performance differences as long as its not boiling hot outside during the day. To the contrary, at night it sounds sweet and feels swifter with some of the cooler air being sucked in.

Boy, a couple of you guys are sure "touchy". I was simply making an observation that puzzled me. I'm sure this same thought has occurred in other peoples' minds too based on some of the other more "vivid" comments posted, yet you chose to get offended by mine? I did not consider my comment as being derogatory in any way. I was merely thinking out loud.

I don't mind stupid questions (or even ignorant ones for that matter). I am quite comfortable with the fact that MANY of those on this site have born witness to my ANSWERING such questions over and over and over and over again when others have given up or simply Remember, I'M the one who posted a specific thread asking others to NOT tell newbies to "DO A SEARCH"! But I gotta admit, I'm beginning to understand those who say this more and more. This is in keeping with the guy who posted a question because "it was easier to get a quick response here" than it was to walk down to his owner's manual and flip through the pages. And then there are those who PM me DEMANDING that I come up with a solution to their problem when they don't even give all the details of their situation. And you wonder why I sometimes think out loud?

So if my little self indulgence (thinking aloud) offended you, all I can say is ................... GROW SOME SKIN! It ain't thick enough. Wait till you see what others respond with later on.

(OK, rant over.)
I completely understand xviper. I meaning to flame you or anything in any way. I said "give him some slack" in a teasing manner. I know it's hard to see that in the text, but I meant no ill will. I used to be one of those newbies that depended on everyone for help and xviper, you've helped me a great deal and for that I am truly appreciative. Please continue on helping the newbies (whenever you can of course )
