Dont sweat it dude, when I first bought my car I did the same shit. In all seriousness though, take some time to check out the owners manual to learn a little bit. I would also suggest letting the engine warm up each time before driven or at least driven hard. If you take care you your car, it will take care of you

I removed my air box cover as well and I dont notice any performance differences as long as its not boiling hot outside during the day. To the contrary, at night it sounds sweet and feels swifter with some of the cooler air being sucked in.

did you check the 'secret storage compartment' ? That's where i found my owners manual...after i bought one from helm.

this is one of the reason I don't come to S2000 talk any more. same questions over and over... there has to be better solution for newbies to find this type of information easily....
