Default To all with hardtops

Do you ever miss going top down when you have the hardtop installed? I'm thinking of getting a hardtop because I love the look and IMO it completes a dropped car with nice wheels.

Anyhow.. how often do you take it all off and go topless or do you just get accustomed to a roof?

Help me make my decision please!

we have the best of both worlds. when the weather is nice out, we can take the hardtop off. if it decides its going to rain later that day, we have the soft top for backup. and whenever its cold or if we want to mute noises from the outside we have our hardtop. take my word for it, once you get a hardtop, top down will be a very rare occasion. you'll love the way your car looks and feels with the hardtop on and never want to take it off.

I have an electric winch, so I can pull it off if the weather changes.

do any of you guys pull out the soft top and assembly when you go with a hardtop. honestly, i just dont like the look of the soft top folded in the back tray with the hardtop on.

Being in toronto, I'd say it'd be pretty safe for you to put the hard top on late September/Early November and take it off in the Spring. During the summer, I'd say, leave the hardtop in storage. I used it for a few days off an on, but after a few times being "caught in the sun and beautiful weather" you really do want the flexibility to put the top down at a moments notice.

I leave it in there just in case I want to drive without the top and just in case it rains... I really enjoy driving with the top down though.

I use to drive with the top down almost every day until I got my hardtop. After that I took it off once for a 10 minute drive, and that was only because I needed to remove it to install a rollbar. Hardtop all the way.
