Default Aluminum Pipe Okay?

I went down this afternoon and finally got the resonator removed (it sounds great, like everyone says). But after I had it done I asked what type of pipe he used and was told aluminum/ized. This is totally my fault as I intended to make sure he used stainless steal but was in a hurry and forgot.

But my question is whether having the aluminum pipe in there instead of SS is a big deal at all? What are the possible problems that might stem from this? Thanks.

Should not be a problem. The aluminized pipe has a coating that prevents it from rusting.

Aluminized steel is rust resistant, not rust proof. It will rust eventually if the conditions permit.

I live in norcal, so not a lot of rain and no snow. Hopefully it won't become an issue, but thanks for the heads up.
