Yeah crap time to sell. Market went up a little bit these days since it's summer but still they are low if you look in the right place. Just look on eBay abs see horrible the resale value is on these now. A couple years ago when I bought mine I was looking at 04's being over 20 grand now they are as low as 12 or less depending on miles. With brand new going for mid 20's 3-4 year old ones with 50k do not have much value. I gave an ap1 and plan to never sell it as I'll get practically nothing for it anyways.
Still don't know where you're coming up with this $12k price for '04s or this "look on ebay to see how bad resale value is" idea

Ebay only goes back about a month for completed listings, but if you take a look you'll find the lowest selling price for an AP2 since May 31 was $14,950 ('04, 62k miles, Phoenix AZ). You'll also see dozens of listings that don't result in a sale -- seems to say sellers are confident that they'll eventually be able to sell for a price closer to the asking price.

Even if you check completed listings for clean-history AP1s with lower mileage (50k or less), you'll see all of them go for about $13k. Higher mileage (70k and up) go for about $9k to $11k.

Sure, if you wait long enough you'll probably find a crazy deal from a motivated seller who's in a tight spot. But in general values seem to be holding on better than most people think.

yep. thats about what ive been seeing as well.

no way youre going to find an ap2 for 12-13k unless one of the following is true

1. salvage title
2. uber high miles
3. comes wrapped around a tree
4. 1:8 scale size.

Well haven't had Internet recently but going back about a month from watching them on eBay fir my freind who wanted one they were all selling for extremely cheap. I even saw sc 04-05's with low mileage going for 15k prices might have gone up a little bit due to summer I guess. But over the winter and early spring they were dirt cheap. I almost bought another one. It was an 05 with 55k miles from a dealer on eBay and it sold fir 12 grand.

That's a good bit too much. You can find brand new for 5 grand more so looking around longer and maybe slightly further away will get you much better deals.
I know people get upset with how cheap they are no but that's what happens to a cat that never changes and many people get tired of. Ap1's with 50k or so are going for around 11-12k now. So an ap2 04-05 is really around 15k 06-07 more like 16-17k or so.
Blue book means nothing if people aren't paying it. But I guess if people dont look ok eBay and to their research people can sell them for more.
Man where are you getting these numbers? Please provide links to these low mile and clean ap2s going for $13k. Otherwise, I call

Haha. Sorry don't store links for all deals I see. Calling bs? Why the he'll would I be on here making fake deals I saw? Grow up.
Anyways like I said earlier in the year I saw those deals when looking for one for my freind. Maybe they went back up a little bit now but I'm still sure I could get an 04-05 with less than 60k for under 15 grand if I wanted.

Even the carzy deals you find is ture, that doesn't mean the average resale value of a clean low mileage 04-05 is 12k or 13k. I paid my CPO 05 with 25k miles for 21k last year.
