With my other 2 cars my main thought was always "who the hell is doing this." The cam does help. I tested it out recently. I went outside and walked around the cars. I could totally tell it was me. Lets hope it works that way if someone else decides to be an ass.

 

LMAO When I first got my S2000 I did the same thing for about two months.

I no longer have my S under surveillance and still wake up every time an alarm goes off even if it's in the next city over .... you develop super hearing after a while

Yeah definitely a good idea. Guys that spraypaint cars hold no respect for anything and probably dispise the fact that you drive a nice car. They are all worthless and should get cained like they do in singapore. Then strung up by their big toes while force fed slaw dogs through their asses.

I have read so many threads on here where someone's S was vandalized for no reason at all or the driver was yelled at just for driving the car. Having a way to identify the person is always a plus, especially if it's free.

 

no, i don't think you are paranoid. i have 3 cameras directed at mine as well since we've renovated our garage as part of the house. actually, this is considered as my second mod after i got my alarm.

 

Time to move to a nicer neighborhood.

 

I was parked at my girlfriend's apartment the other night. When I was leaving, there was this big truck that reversed into the parking spot and parked literally FIVE INCHES from me.

Since it was dark, I couldn't see if there were any door dings...so I whipped out my camera phone, took pictures, got the license plate, etc. I had to get in the passenger side, lower the top, and climb over the center console just to get into the car. I don't think you're paranoid at all.

 

I don't think its paranoida at all. If my car were to sit outside I would want to put additional security (such as a camera) to protect myself from theft.

 

I am sure in Alberta, Canada rent is pretty low but in Los Angeles its pretty damn high. Especially in W. LA where I live. Its no where near as bad as S. Central or E. LA. I just happen to Anyway my next move is my own house. Hopefully that will be soon.
