Default Amber or hyper white in the clear side markers

Just installed the MG racing clear side markers. Love them. Exact copies of stock and fit well. I didn't even unplug the harness, just twisted the stock out, and changed the bulb, and put the stock housing back into the clear marker light.

Need opinions though. Clear bulbs in the clear signals or amber? They are amber now, but just wondering what you all think.

i've got the clear sidemarkers too. at first i had the hyperwhite but changed them to amber. the white of the side marker and the amber of the headlight markers didn't seem to go well.

I left the clear lights in. They produce a slightly orange tint to which I much prefer white. I'll change them to white as soon as I can find the cash for the clear corners in the couch somewhere...hehe.

I'm assuming you changed out your amber side markers cuz you didn't like the amber. Thus, you can clearly rule out the amber bulbs.

Most states require "amber indicators for turn signaling". If you go to white or clear out your headlights most likely you'll get a fix-it ticket. Contact your local DMV and ask first....it can save you a lot of headaches, especially when thinking of clearing out the headlights.

Thanks calc!
I always thought that clear front turn signals were illegal here in Cali!
