Default Amuse R1 Titan versus R1000

OK I know the Amuse R1 Titan is cat back while the R1000 is header back. I've never heard neither in person. Is the R1000 tolerable for the street, soundwise? I'm leaning towards the R1 Titan but the R1000 is just bad ass but will it be too loud? I need to decide today in a few hours by 11AM Pacific.

Some decibel ratings...

R1 Titan
Idle - 74.9 db
6000 RPM - 99.5 db
WOT - 114.8 db

Idle - 77.4 db
6000 RPM - 112.5 db
WOT - 125.2 db

Thanks.

why not get an R1 titan and a T1R test pipe? Then you have the best of both worlds and can switch back to the stock cat if it's too loud.

R1000 is not good if you actually drive on the street. It is silly loud. On the track with a helmet would make it tolerable.

Prepare to keep and use a pair of ear plugs when cruising around with an R1000. But for true performance and maximum power gains, this is the pinnacle.

You can lose your hearing. 90-95 decibels is the level where sustained hearing will cause hearing loss. 125db is where pain begins. At 6000+ rpms the difference between the 2 exhuasts is about 13decibels which in case people didn't know equates to over 2 times louder. Not 2% louder folks 200% louder.

dB is a log scale right?

10dB is 10X
3dB is 2X

technically 13dB is 20X...

That's how it works in Wireless engineering.

Not sure about that, I know that:
3 decibel change is considered the minimal for detecting.
10 decibel is twice
20 decibel is considered 4 times.
