Another bad S2000 review (long)
of course, last i heard a Monster Miata "new" was going for about $50K. Not such a bargain and having the v8 stuffed into the nose did not help the handling or balance of that great little car.
Just for fun, if anybody is talking about "bang for the buck":
1991 Indy car. 1600 pounds, 800+ hp rebuilt Buick turbo engine, 0-60 under 2sec, 0-100 4.5sec = $40K
enough spare parts to rebuild after 1 crash.
Try to beat it!

Handling wouldn't matter much in straight line speed.
I didn't know that those monster miata's cost that much.
