A prime example of why I like the Dallas Business Journal, the next business day after I sent this e-mail to them the author of this column sent me this e-mail:

From my eye's experience with being at the factory, the only things that are not done by hand are SOME of the painting and there are maybe 2 welding robots on the assembly line. Everything else is hand assembled. To the degree that the motor is hand built, I don't know. The motors arrived at Takanezawa already assembled.
