Default Another rattle question...

So i've got a rattle thats is behind the drivers seat. Its not coming from anything in the cabin. More like back towards the rear drivers side wheel, behind the wall. It is a metal on metal sound. I can hear it when I hit fairly large bumps.

I did need some body work a couple of years ago. It is most likely something related to those repairs.

Any ideas? Is it fairly easy to remove the plastic on the back wall?

Thanks

Maybe the wing nut on the spare tire. Access via trunk by removing quick release pins.

Its not the spare tire. The rattle is behind the drivers seat. Spare tire is behind the passenger....

Yeah but rattle locations can be very deceiving and it is a quick thing to check out. There are tons of people who swore up and down they had a front driver's side suspension squeak and it turned out to be the hood latch. Also check your license plate, as they can rattle sometimes.

Might even be the hood latch needing white lithium grease. I though that was a rear swaybar at first.

Thanks for all the input....unfortunately its not the spare and I am certain that its behind the drivers seat. Its over the drivers left shoulder. I can actually hear it when I start the car. Just after it fires up, you can hear a slight ratttle.
