SO when is the first scheduled oil change 3750 or 7500 miles?

Why can't I change it at 2500 mi? I am kind of used to changing my oil early after break-in.

I changed my oil a couple days ago as my odometer turned 3754 miles. IMHO, no Honda S2000 owner should ever qualify for the 7500 mile oil change because if you drive this car like it's meant to be driven, you'll always be operating the car under extreme conditions.

Hi Baxdatass,

I just responded to this (example of s2000 abuse), but I put it as a new post. I'm sorry, I should have put it here in response to your question. I apologize.

Oh, I thought you were going to stop her from using the cell phone at the gas station. Wouldn't want to blow up two S2000s.

FYI, in Germany you can't use cell phones at gas stations in fear of electrical signals causing an explosion... I'd like to see this one take effect in the U.S.

I don't think using 89 will really hurt the engine...the ECU should retard the timing, producing less power. That woman probably wouldn't notice the difference.

Talking on the cellphone and pumping gas is a .
Good thing you didnt get her # she seems pretty dumb.
Several gas stations have been blown up on the east coast because the frequency a cellphone gives off
can cause a static charge. Thats a in a gas station.
