Default Another stupid question...

Why does Honda sometimes designate the S2000 as the Civic/S2000?? I have looked, and the only parts that seem to be in common with the 2 cars are the valve stem caps.

My invoice and service tickets say 2002 Honda/Civic/S2000 I also remember seeing it referenced that way on some website a while back but I not sure where.

i think the dealership did not add an additional model to their car list so they instead added it to the existing civic model title. probably stems from the del sol being a civic.

The Si is the only one sharing parts. Sttering wheel blank, wiper are, turn signal arm.

only time that my car has been referred to as a "civic" was on a few traffic tickets. =/

My auto insurance ID card I carry in my car lists my car as...MAKE:Honda.....MODEL:Vtec....go figure.

Mine says Make:Honda Model: S Type
