any comment of hardtopguy?
These guys came to my house to deliver and install my hardtop, and I have purchased items from them since. I've also contacted them for information that did not involve a sale or any other form of profit to them. All my experience with them has been highly favorable. If there is a problem, I am certain they will make it right.

I'm going to have to give them
for an excellent customer experience and an amazing product. I was very impressed.
I have ordered around $2K-$3K in parts from them and have recieved them packaged very well and they came promptly. And when the first supercharger raffle they had was going on I had ordered their clutch set up and I had talked to Jeff and he sent me 5 free tickets- $50 value.
International shipping is always a crapshoot. The paperwork is horrendous, the regulations are different for each country as far as what's required and also what's permitted to be shipped (this is on top of maximum size restrictons). Then there's the country of origin paperwork when there's NAFTA involved (Canada for example). That's before the package can even leave the shipping dock. It's not the same as slapping a label on something and having it picked up in a routine shipment.
The original poster (apparently) lives in Hong Kong so I can imagine that shipping there is even more fun than the usual destinations.
Hardtopguy is solid. I find that when things go awry, there's always a simple explanation. Don't forget, the Internet portion of their business is just a small piece of a much larger organization and sometimes the local demands of running the parts department for Ganley Honda/Pontiac will take precedence.
