Default Any ideas to increase interior space in a S2000

I would like to purchase a s 2000, and have driven one, but since I am 6 feet 3 inches I do not fit very well. Does anyone know of anybody who has made some interior modifications to increase the space to the left of the clutch pedal and raised the stearing wheel (there is no tilt wheel). I would like to know if this is possible.

Thanks

You can try modifying the seat rails so you sit lower or get an aftermarket seat. That should give you some leg room and remedy your steering wheel problem.

You can remove the dead pedal if you want....the steering wheel can be adjusted a bit by shimming the mounting points on the steering column (there are some threads showing this).

If you remove the plastic kick panel that covers the ECU on the left side of the foot well you can pick up another half inch or maybe full inch of foot space. I removed it in my S (because I was swapping ECUs a lot at the time) and never looked back, it was a lot more room (for the S, haha)

Aftermarket seat with low rails is your best bet.

BYS seat rail was one of the best mods I did. No more neck aches and I can see the tack now.

A bucket seat will give you a significant increase in space. yes it's a little more of a pain to get in and out of but it's worth it.

you must have short legs or arms and a huge torso or something I'm only 6'0" and with the seat moved back and seat reclined as far as it would go I still wanted more room leg room and distance between me and the steering wheel.
