nightcrawler: Try sanding down the shifter bushing with 600 grit sandpaper. I had a bitchin' time even installing mine because it wouldn't fit. When I first got it to fit, it buzzed like a bastard. After some subsequent sandings, the buzz got much, much less noticable.
which part do you mean when you say shifter bushing?? mine fits just fine, it just vibrates and buzzes a lot. and it varies depending on which knob i use. it's a lot less with the stock knob than with my countersunk titanium one.

Any CAI because they don't do anything and I feared driving in the rain with one on. Really regret the bys spoiler too. It left mean scratches on my trunk lid.

these were on my 03...

4.57 gears... whined, lost a lot of top end, and honestly just got tired of the rpms staying so high at highway speeds. the comptech diff was nice though.

t1r coilovers... i think i still have a stiff neck from the bumpiness of these things.

my only complaint is that the spoon strut bar rubs on my prm intake, so every other week i'm sticking some foam shit in there to keep it from grinding down each other

Only mod I actually regret is sound deadening my interior. It didn't help at all (when I was running my invidia exhaust), getting a simple 100 dollar testpipe helped more then removing the entire interior to lay crap down that was just basically dead weight....what a PITA it was to remove the sound deadener once it was already down

The first mod... because the S has sucked money out of my pocket ever since...
It has become the the black hole of the paycheck. It starts out slow and not so much, and then gradually increases the pull of money. And soon you see so many things you want to put on the car that you can no longer resist the ultimate of gravitational force upon your wallet and every cent you make gets dumped into it.
. . . ok, I'm not that bad, but I have seen a fairly steady increased flow of money into my car.

Thing I most regret is getting Brembo . . . sorry, "Brembo" OE replacement CD/S rotors. They rusted like crazy, warped after 6 months, ate up pads, and the back surface looked like tree bark when I took them off. Biggest waste of money I threw into the car. And when I called the place I bought them from, they said they weren't really made by Brembo. They were just made to Brembo's specs using blanks that were outsoursed by Brembo to a firm that makes garbage parts. They have long been replaced by OE rotors which are working just fine.
