just wondering if anyone else has any ideas for covering the crossmember hump on the floor in front of the seats, without buying complete aftermarket floormats. just something to cover the stock carpet so i can comfortably rest my foot on there without fearing im going to eventually wear a hole on the carpet.

I use a red cloth napkin I found at Target. I tuck some of it under the floor mat and simply pull the rest of it back under the seat. Matches the interior pretty well and you can toss it in the laundry when it gets too dirty.

i have black carpet.

you know, i think im gonna go to the junkyard and cut up some old carpet thats already molded with a hump and slide it under the seat and floormat. thanks for the idea.
