Do you know what brand of glass it was?

Gah! My hijack of a necro-thread is being hijacked. Let's get back on topic for my thread revival, been trying to find an answer to my very specific inquiry and can't get a solid response.

Reposting my problem:

I hate to bring up old threads, but I'm hoping someone can chime in and help as I'm having a very hard time finding this information anywhere. I've recently had my windshield replaced with OEM and they only just replaced the 3 quarters length molding along with the glass. However the molding is not tight around the glass as shown in the video below. Looking at the manual, it says to use adhesive tape on the windshield molding to connect to the glass and also to use rubber dams and seals on the glass. Did any of you get all the rubber dams and seals as identified in the manual along with the adhesive tape when you were having it done? Is this important and am I worried about a non issue with my molding?

My issue:

From the manual:

Looks like AP Tech (AP Technoglass). I read that Safelite actually was approved to manufacture glass under that name as of about 2014. I think AGC/AP Tech also manufactures for OEM, including Honda in some cases based upon a little searching.Did not have the big area of the black overlay on it as some aftermarkets have. It just has the black overlay in the spot the mirror attaches to ( I believe that was the OEM design, but have no idea if my car had the original windshield when I bought it). But in any case, my mirror was in the same exact spot as my original, which seems to be the same as other S2k's I have driven, or at least I never noticed a difference.

To be honest though ,as long as it works and I can see out of it, I want the mirror as high as possible. When autocrossing it It gets turned to the side anyways to avoid that extremely hard to resist urge to look and see if you hit that last cone :P For track days of course it is aligned normally but it seems to be correct from what I can tell.

And to the older posts about spending $1800 for a windshield... have fun with that. I can replace 4 of them for that much money :P Mine fits perfect, have not had one issue with it, etc. No issues with Safelite doing mine.
