Long story short i let a cop search my car. Not sure, i don't look like a seedy character.

Apparently my license was revolked and I didn't think it was. Long story with a small town court saying take these papers, but don't worry it shouldn't be listed in the dmv. So i didn't think i needed the papers....

He searched my car and found the papers and released the cuffs!!! His computer said i had a revolked license and papers said otherwise. Plus i don't do drugs so, search away!

just because you don't do drugs doesn't mean you should give the cops full access to your car whenever they want it

one of my ccw class teachers was a part time judge/lawyer and he said he never consents to a search simply because he doesn't go do a full (cavity search type) clean his car every single time he has someone else in it - and as well as you know people, whats to say they didn't accidentally drop something - whats to say that you don't have something random that you didn't know about?

saying "i didn't know that was there officer" doesn't seem to hold up too well

just as this judge, i would never reccomend consenting to a search, especially if there is no valid reason - they can get a warrant if they have reasonable suspicion

i've never had a car searched but i was just curious if the secret compartment had been found by cops before

theres plenty of stash spots in this car. So many I dont even consider the secret compartment "secret" compared to some of the other places I found.

To answer the OP questions on a cop has never found the secret compartment.

Please elaborate? I need more stash spots.

I know in Torrance, if you dont consent to a search they WILL impound your car on the spot. Its happened to my friend in front of my eyes.

To the OP: Nice write up, I have been wanting to ask this. But, never had the nerve to do so
