Default anyone done airbag shutoff switch for passenger?

with a second child on the way, my wife says I need a grown up car. Other than a '02 m3 conv. I can't think of what I would swap my '00 S2K for - I've had it 3 years at Thanksgiving. Thinking if I could find an inexpensive way to shut off the passenger airbag, I might be able to keep the car against intense pressure. After several painful phone calls honda sent me a letter, I signed it and sent it back. Then they replied with another letter that said I could go to my local dealer to order the "airbag diasabling switch" for $500, then pay the dealer to install it. Thinking $800 or so total was more than I had in mind. Has anyone done it themselves or seen a kit to do so. I've had the car for 3 years, so all this happened a couple of years ago - maybe someone has seen something since?

There are many threads on this subject--just do a search on "passenger airbag switch". For example: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=84253. I've got little ones and had this done a few months back. PM me if you have specific questions.

I've also had this done for $350 installed. PM me if you would like the contact information. They install nationwide...

I've had my airbag deactivation switch put in also. Total cost was about $900 CAN. PM me if you want more details.
