i have had my pass side pin switch replaced once already because i was not turning on the dome light. it worked for a day and quit again. and now my driver pin switch is starting to get the symptoms too. anyone else had this problem???
my car is a 2000 with 34000 on it.

 

You are the first one that I have heard mention this problem.

 

Are you talking the metal piece behind the black gromet in the door jam that tells the car the door is open? If so my car started to experience this same problem about a month ago and I haven't figured it out yet. It's only on the drivers side and is really annoying at night when I get in my car and the lights don't go on for like 10 seconds.

 

yeah if i "jiggle" the pin switch then it will come on

 

Same thing here...so you got your original door switch replaced under warranty is that right?

 

yes i did, on the pass side. they said it was working when it left but it is deff not working now. and when i got out of the car the other day (driver side) it took a second for the dome light to turn on. and thats how the pass side first started haveing problems.
