sorry if i missed it but any1 dyno a car with 100k+ miles on it?
i wonder if you'd lost some power over the years.

and to guy that with the 06 and 100k miles
daily driver? how often do you go through tires?

 

I dyno'd less than a year ago and put down 199 at the wheels with a VAFC, intake and exhaust. To put it into perspective, a stock AP2 with way less miles put down a few ponies less than me. The car still pulls pretty good.

Running VERY strong.

Burn 1 qt every 5000 miles. But being used to H22 years ago that is NOTHING. haha

OIL: Mobil1 Extended Performance Switch every 7,000 miles. I travel 110 miles a day. Been used since 18k miles. Love it.

Damn, I was hoping you wouldn't say Mobil1 EP 10W-30. I use the same oil on my AP1 03 now at 130k miles, all stock. I change the oil every 3,750 miles and have to replace a quart of oil between oil changes. By the time I change the oil, the dipstick shows oil at around the first hash marking again. By this time, it has been around 3,750 miles so instead of topping off again, I just change the oil. So this translates to around a 2-quart loss between changes I guess.

 

I used to go throught a quart every 4k miles with M1, now I only go through a half quart with Valvoline maxlife synth.

 

Only half way there (just broke 50,000 miles a couple weeks ago) but still running like new. Loves me my Honda, and glad to hear everyone running their successfully past 100k with no real issues!

 

117700 on a 2000 AP1 and still running strong. The guy I got it from used Royal Purple 5W-30 with Royal Purple oil filter.
