I've always used Mobil 1 EP 10W-30 with the OEM 'PCX' filter every 3750 miles (~6k km) for the engine and Mobil 1 75W-90 every 15k miles (~24k km) for the diff. I'm at around 135k miles (~216k km) right now.

 

that sounds like an impressive maintenance package that seems to be working well for you, good job.

 

Yep it's working for me so far. Mobil 1 for the engine might not be the *best* motor oil but it is a good oil, one with which you can't go wrong. Mobil 1 for the diff is superb; the drain plug is clean at every change and the color is still fresh.

well, I finally rolled over 100k yesterday. Been changing the oil with 5w30 Mobil 1 and the last I put into the diff was Royal Purple (but I'm looking for something better)

With 179,683 miles... my S started knocking last week I'm looking for a new long block. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.. as the car is my DD and currently it's down.
