700,000, 850,000.... Theres only so many times a piston can go up and down in a cylinder before the metal is warn away and 700,000 miles isnt
realistic.

Even more interesting is what a main bearing would look like at 700,000 miles.
Keep in mind that a main bearing isnt a bearing at all... its just metal sliding against metal, protected by a layer of oil.
Again, I dont think 700,000 miles is realistic.
My girlfriend's grandfather's Lexus LS400 has 510,000 on the clock. The tranny and motor are original.

I am at 104K No major problems.

Clutch out lived the block..
Rebuild the engine slowly this past summer.

Went through 12 sets of tires, 10 pad sets, 5 sets of front rotors, 3 sets of rear, 6 exhausts, 5 sets of wheels, 3 axles, 3 SC belts That's it on the consumables

4 front bumper resprays-hate the chipped look.

everybody is an expert online

Im gonna hit 60 this week in my 02, Ive been driving it 9 months and bought it with 36k. At my pace I will be in the club by April of 07.

Hondas are the shit, I redlined my gsr 100 times a day from 72k to 115k then I gave it to my best friend, We have videos of us chirpin 4th. we beat the Fcuk out of it. Its still running strong. (I didnt really give it to him, I sold it to him for only 1500 but I bought him tons of shit for it including a brand new type r trans. what can I say Im a good friend)
I bought the car a month before my 17th b-day so you can imagine what it went through in a year and a half.

HONDA 4 LIFE (maybe I should get a tatoo of that)

I think most people would consider an engine rebuild being major work (assuming it was required).

Whats more amazing is the people who have replied with over 100k miles and nothing but a clutch and lots of tires and fluids.

It was required, I had a scored cyl. wall in #2. My leakdown was 16% and was hoping it was just the rings, but it turned out to be the wall. FRM stock cylinder walls are not built for boost.
Honda built us really great engines. I was unsatisfied NA so I SCed and had to deal with the consequences. No regrets at all though.

The clutch was fine for over 100K.
All this talk of the stock clutch being weak is not true. My clutch never slipped.

Wow, a stock clutch lasting over 100k in a boosted car. Now THAT is impressive.

It amazes me too. I ordered a HT Guy clutch kit at ~60K miles. It sat on my shelf in anticipation for almost 1.5 years

Mr.XViper even drove my car in Marin when Davepk and I met up with him and Avi for dinner.

Just wanted to thank XViper and Davepk for helping me with diagnosing the issues that come along with such abuse. Thank you Mr.Xviper
