Default Anyone keep their S2000 Stock?

I have a thing about appreciating Stock Cars.
I feel like the way honda made the car is the way it should remain to truly appreciate it! It's like a beautiful girl without makeup.

There is nothing wrong with upgrades and enhancements but I'm just saying...
Anyone else with me on this?

My 2000 MY is stock with 44500 km. I wouldn't do anything that couldn't be returned to original if needed.

+1 here. Honestly, the less you tinker with the car, the less headache you'd end up with as well.

It also depends on what you mean by "stock".

I love the look of the sleek S2000. Long hood, mostly sharp edges. I've done exterior modifications myself, but just because I want my car to have the "CR" look.

As far as performance goes, there are 2 boats:
- Those who add performance parts because they actually have the skills, and frequent enough track/competition days to warrant it. I envy you.
- Those who add performance parts because they want to give off the look of a performance oriented vehicle. (People who are dailying their big brake kits, I'm talking about you)

I personally think this car was set up perfectly, and it is more car than what most people can handle.

I also wouldn’t do anything that couldn’t be returned to stock. I have however done a flash pro tune, exhaust and I have just ordered coilovers. I will not do anything to alter the appearance with the exception of mild lowering. That being said these cars don’t really NEED anything and it’s always refreshing to see a clean stock one.

Stock is for the DD; the S2000 is made to be driven. Whatever form you like it in from stock to wild. You get the thumbs up from me.

Agreed. I might keep the stock rims on mine and get them restored and cleaned.

If you have the AP2v1 wheels, keep them. They look amazing on the car.

I mean, I don;t like the wide bodied stanced cars. But it's your car. Enjoy it, unless you're just hoarding it for the appreciation resale. Which bothers me more
There's kind of a vulgar saying that goes.
"Not having sex with your gf, so she's good for the next guy.

Default It’s funny I was thinking

I just joined a few days ago bought this sweet S2k before the pandemic finally got it registered... this car is in NY now but was originally a Cali car bought thru an online dealer called Vroom.... it has to be someone on this forum that loves it because it was obviously well taken care of...2006 ap2 new formula red it was sold with about 31,900 miles and is a beaut.... I mean I had a lot of Honda’s and I’d like to think I’ve tastefully modded them but this car... I almost don’t want to touch... other than a radio unit... see if anyone recognizes this and if you’re the former owner I appreciate how you took care of it and I will do the same...

Negative.
I don't think I've ever kept any of my vehicles in the last 30 years stock. Something ends up getting upgraded at some point.
