Anyone keep their S2000 Stock?
You cannot beat a west coast/southwest car. No corrosion at all. That is why aircraft boneyards are out here. That is a sweet little car and I can understand your reluctance to mod it to pieces. Resist the urge for at least a year so you can get to know it. You may change your mind.
I left my 2009 with 30K miles almost stock. I popped in a new headhunt but kept the OEM one just in case. I added NVH (sound insulation) but it can be removed or is totally hidden. Put in a CR radio door and shift knob but that is easy to swap out again. That is it. I love it stock.

Bone stock and it lives in SoCal. Honestly, this lil' one is a survivor for sure. 16,000 miles and Hardtop equipped. I love it just the way it is.
I'm so committed to leaving it stock that I threw it up on the tags.
What a gorgeous car!
Cheers bud and thanks.
gorgeous indeed, i prefer those oem rims to mine any day of the week
Ya need to get that rigid roof off the car and enjoy summer!
Every time I see a Chicane Silver 2008 the Tenth Commandment looms it's head up, makes me feel a little dirty, and have to go beg forgiveness from my Silverstone 2006.
I still secretly want to put a set of those 5-spoke wheels on the car even though they're not "correct."
"Tasteful" mods are completely subjective. Mine, of course, are wonderful.

As for the hardtop, I’m a big fan of coupes and call me crazy, but I actually really enjoy it with the fixed roof. I’m one of those people that may scoop up an M Z3 Coupe here sometime soon as well, if that explains anything.
There were 70,000 s2000 sold in the USA.
The vast majority are likely stock.
I find a stock S2000 nice to drive but boring to look at. I’m sure many people who like stock S2000 find my car vulgar.
Neither opinion really matters.

I have a thing about appreciating Stock Cars.
I feel like the way honda made the car is the way it should remain to truly appreciate it! It's like a beautiful girl without makeup.
There is nothing wrong with upgrades and enhancements but I'm just saying...
Anyone else with me on this?
