does anyone know if the koni's are a full replacement or if they are incerts meaning do they still use the lower half of the oem shock. we just did a set on my gf civic and the rear's were full replacement but the front's were an incert .

i'm not sure what civics use... i used to own a few watercooled vw's and they all used macpherson struts in front... which used inserts.

the koni's for the s2000 are not inserts. they are replacement shocks... but you do need to reuse some of the pieces from the stock shock assembly... you also need to drill out the dust cover and the two bushings because the shaft on the koni's is bigger.

here's a pic of what comes in the box.
