What about them? They are very good, but you can make your own cheaper by mixing in a quart or two of the same company's synoil as your mineral oil. There is no standard for how much syn needs to be in a synblend.

The LE 8130 is a 10w30 synblend, and I am analyzing it now as my reference engine oil.

I used mobile 1 in my sir before and it burns out fast,
Castrol on the otherhand never does.

the search function is workin good today.


FYI at the moment, road rage uses/recommends Havoline GF4 conventional oil. It actually is on par or even better than many synthetic oils when it comes to protection level. (granted it's drain interval will not be as high as a good synthetic)
