Default anyway to get vtech to kick in earlier?

Hey all... I was wondering... is the apexi vtech controller the only thing i need to get in order to have my vtech kick in at a lower rpm? please let me know cause i would be really interested in knowing what needs to be done.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, that sounds like it would do it. What kind of mods do you have? If you're stock, then you might not see that good of gains. Why not get a vafc, which will tune a/f ratios at the same time?

VTEC*

Lowering your point alone will not yield much of a gain. Get the car on a dyno and let a tuner do his work unless you know what you are doing.

Get intake, headers, exhaust, J's ecu, and safc, and your vtec controller. and if you want, cam gears and shafts. That should be good without force induction.

If you want to do things N/A:

70mm Headerback Exhaust
4.77 Gears
K&N Drop-In Filter
VAFC
