Ok, so I'm looking into getting my first S and was wondering which chassis to go with. The AP1 or AP2. Is there really much of a difference in between the two? All I can spot is the difference in wheel size and headlight style. Which, in your opinion, is the better option?

 

Drive both and decide for yourself. Opinions on the forum are strong in both directions. Each car has it's own character with pluses and minuses for each...yet both are wonderful and exciting cars in the exact same way.

But when buying any used car, the best rule of thumb is to buy the newest, lowest milage car you can afford.

Oh. Didn't know what I was getting into here.

 

^basically what people are gonna say is test drive both and see how you like it. the ap2 is more geared for daily driving and the ap1 is tougher etc etc etc. i have to say though, that i really like my ap2, i use it for daily driving and i go everywhere with it.

 

I see. I'm pretty sure I will be using it as a daily driver and some(very little) track use.
