Default ap1 with ap2 Trans & Diff?

Just wanted some info from the guys on here, I bought an ap1, that has ap2 trans and diff. Its been a while since ive driven a stock ap1, or a stock ap2 to really feel the torque difference. Am I getting similar torque to an sp2 with this setup? I do feel as if it has enough get up and go for normal traffic use, but im shifting at around 3-4k rpm. Thanks

Not quite. You are getting a boost from lower, closer spaced1-4 gearing. But the ap2 low end boost is a combo of lower gearing and added torque from the motor. You are only getting half that equation.

Still, it may be a best of both worlds for you.

Gotcha. That's what I was thinking but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks!

I actual like the ap1 transmission much better than the ap2. The 1st-4th gears on the ap2 are way too short but the longer 6th gear is nice to have.
