Default Ap1 Soft Top Plastic or Glass Window? Any Price & Value Difference?

How much more or less would you pay for a 01' vs 02' (similar condition and mileage, Glass vs Plastic). How much you willing to pay extra for Glass/Plastic?

Glass adds value and is more marketable. Now setting a dollar amount to that is arbitrary at best, as there were other changes between 01 and 02 that can impact the price point. Glass was the major contributing factor in me looking for an 02+

I voted $0. I would pay a few hundred more for the glass window, everything else being equal, but not $500. I would buy the one with the plastic window and put the savings away for an eventual replacement top with a glass window before spending that much.

In replacement tops, Basic Robbins top is $37 difference between plastic and glass. Top of the line Robbins is $90 difference.

plastic rear window sucks. plastic goes to crap and u cant see out of it plus in the colder weather u have to worry about it cracking and splitting open. plan on changing mine for a robbins glass window just for the glass window theres nothing else wrong with my top other than the window. gonna cost me at least 1k probably more for price of top and pro install. if u want to see out the back get glass

Is there any "drop-in" plastic to glass kit that DOESN'T requirement the replacing of entire soft top?

Plastic = crack/ foggy sound like a huge hassle. Especially involve replace entire top!

I wouldn't buy a car with a plastic window, unless my plan was to replace it immediately with glass. That's actually the exact decision I made, waiting till 02 before I bought mine from the dealer. Plastic is just a PITA...keeping it clear, keeping it from creasing.
