Got bored so I'm attempting to customize the wires behind the taillights, let me know what you guys think of this idea.

I'm thinking of cutting the wires for the reverse bulb/harness and wire them to the corner light bulb and just tuck the wires for the corner lights to the side, that will make the corner light blink when the signals are on.
With that being said, I want to wire the actually reverse harness/bulb (top) to the other (lower) harnes/bulb and make it a complete circle when reverse is engaged.

What do you guys think? or

 

Well, you won't be able to keep an amber rear turn signal. Other than that, the concept sounds good. Get 'er done and post some pics.

 

Not only that but I kinda like the thought of having just a circular taillight lid up instead of having a side/corner light on along with it. I'll have to change the amber bulb to a clear one.

 

Just want to add that I'd completed the project, looks better from my point of view. Now the reverse light is a complete circle, no more half reverse/signals light.
No picture but you can image it if you have AP1 taillights.

I like it. I had a similar idea, but would be makeing use of rings and inner circles. I'd uses LEDs for the bulbs. I was never much for the half-moon look of the reverse/turn lights. Your setup looks much better.
