AP2 with 9k redline?

you can just redo the valvetrain and reflash the ecu...then you can have a 9k redline from a 2.2

EDMs are still AP1 designation even though they are really AP2 - I'd guess because of European regs and expense with testing a "new" chassis.

Thanks for the replies and info everyone. Now the other countries that kept the F20 in the AP2 did they get the updated transmission like the U.S.?

The countries that kept the F20C (updated to F20C2) have the updated synchros and the clutch delay valve of the American AP2's but they retain the '99-'03 gearing.
