ok so anyways im putting my car back to stock and i got a oem AP2 exhaust with oem cat for $100 with tips. So i want to know how the fitment is. Also if anyone has any pictures. Please let me know because I want to buy the exhaust today. I'll also be selling my JIC Magic Ti single exhaust and Aem V2 intake.

 

I know a couple of folks who have put the ap2 exhaust on the ap1. One is down in South Florida...post in the South Florida forum to find out who.

There are no major fitment issues. The ap2 exhaust has a twin hanger design. You can get away with one hanger, but using the ap2 triangular hangers is the most ideal.

 

The tips wont look right on the AP1. They will be too big and also stick out more (I think).

I would check out the ap1 near you that has the ap2 exhaust to see if you like how it looks if that concerns you. There is one local to me that had the ap2 exhaust on and it looked ok to me. Before the ap2 came out Spugen used to sell quite a few of their exhausts with oval tips for the s2k.
