CR suspension is good, but if you're gonna spend money just get some decent coilovers like KW v3s. The aditional adjustibility will help

Yes they are a bit different in both the spring and damper rates.

I think if the CR was supposed to be a type-r, they would have called it a type-r.

Please don't turn this into another "lets hate on the CR" thread. There are already too many.

Not sure where you read that. CR coilovers are different from AP1 units. (Swaybars too.) It's the steering rack that's the same as the AP1 unit (at least, the ratio of it.)

this is by no means a "cr hating thread" i think the cr is a beautiful car. i think that all of our opinions are the same.

rather than spending money on the cr suspension you should spend the money on a better coilover set. KW are amazing coilovers.

Here is my take ... and here is one of the main reasons why I returned my KW V3s and installed the CR coilovers instead ...

The adjustability part is basically useless for me, because I have zero knowledge of tuning and poor access to testing environment to tune the coilovers properly.

Trying to adjust something that I cannot adjust properly probably means I'm gonna end up worse ...
