What would the VTEC controller do for a NA S2000? Any gains or is it just a display with more info?

 

Maybe some small gains? Would you see some benefit in a lowered vtec cam switchover point?

 

you might see somewhere around 6 - 15 whp, depending on the mods you got...

best to spend your $$ on intake, header, test pipe, etc first.. then get the vafc, and get it tuned to your mods.. most S owners see a 5hp-20hp gain after tuning

 

What do you think with just I/E? Is it worth the cost of the dyno runs to get it tuned? I bought mine witht he VAFC, it's not hooked up, and I've put on I/E so.. is it worth the couple hundred to do the dyno and tuning?

 

The only issue I see is to maximize the gains with the VAFC, you would have to have it retuned after every performance mod
