Apexi Super Grounding System


Does this really work or is it a waste of money??? Apexi is claiming it gives 9 rwhp. I'm finding that hard to believe.



I tried to do a search on this but it wouldn't work, Sorry!!!

 

It may work, but probably not to the tune of ~10whp. I know on cars like the Evo, grounding kits help a LOT though. Personally, I would make my own for 1/10 of the cost of a kit.

 

I was reading about this in a magazine.... the put it on an s2k and got decent gains i think 5 max rwhp at ??? rmps was like and over all gain of like 1.5-2.5 hp somethign like that... So there is some power to be had of this....

 

This has been discussed "as nauseum" here in the past. For a brand new S2000, these things won't do much. Even the claimed 3hp gain is well within the error of any dyno and should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt.
If you have an old S2000 where the wiring is getting corroded and deposits forming inside the cables and the connection points are in rough shape, then these will help. But then, so will a set of OEM new cables.
If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, buy 'em. The loss of the money will make you "feel" like you are faster.
