Default APR, quick question.

I just received my CF cooling plate and was about to install it but I noticed that there's a button of some sort on the left side for when the hood is down it pushes it in. Can I totally remove this to install the plate, because there is no hole to compensate for it. What is this button, is it just a indicator. Do I need it. Can I just drill a hole in the plate. What have others done.

Thanks

That is a hood pin. Do you have a factory or aftermarket alarm? That is what the hood pin is for. So that if someone pops the hood the alarm goes off.

I have an aftermarket alarm. So I think the best thing is to just drill another hole to compensate for it.

You can drill out a hole in the ARP plate... so it will just fit right over it...
