The last place I stayed in Asheville seemed to have too many S2000 owners staying there. They are a rowdy bunch, especially the 12th floor ones.

The Grove Park Inn is a nice place. They have a new spa area that the wife might enjoy. Biltmore has a new inn that has received high praise from several of my friends. But beware, it's not cheap!!
I prefer a place in downtown, the Haywood Park Hotel. Again, its not exactly cheap. They have a great restaurant there and the "New French Bar" is a cool place to hang out for a few drinks. Several other great restaurants are within walking distance (try the Spanish wine and tapas place for great food AND belly dancers!!). There is even a vegetarian restaurant nearby. The hotel also has a parking deck that will keep your car out of the weather for the night!

Have Fun!!
