Welcome to S2000Online.com, Connor.

A member of this site identified you as the person she spoke with regarding Bridgestone Potenza SO2 OEM tires for Honda S2000s.

Could you please post information here regarding your level of certainty that you have successfully identified the exact Honda S2000 stock tire replacement. Also, please post the tire's particulars -- including price, if possible.

Thanks for your help, Connor. And again -- WELCOME to the club!

HELLO, I WAS ASKED IF I COULD PLACE SOME INFORMATION ON THIS WEB SITE IN REGARDS TO THE CORRECT TIRE FITMENT FOR S2000'S. AS MOST OF YOU HAVE FOUND OUT THERE ARE ONLY TWO TIRES THAT WORK CORRECTLY ON THIS VEHICLE. THESE BEING THE ORIGINAL BRIDGESTONE S02 W SPEED RATING AND THE YOKOHAMA A032R'S. THE A032R'S WILL WORK BUT NOWHERE NEAR AS WELL AS THE S02'S. WHERE MOST PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEM IS WITH WHICH S02 IS THE CORRECT ONE FOR THE S2000. THE EXACT TIRE YOU NEED IS A 205/55R16 89W BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S02 FOR THE FRONT AND A 225/50R16 92W BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S02 FOR THE REAR. THE W SPEED RATING IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THIS TIRE BECAUSE THE TREAD COMPOUND AND THE TREAD DESIGN IS DIFFERENT ON THE "Z" AND THE "N1" SERIES S02'S. IF I CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE TO ANYONE I CAN BE REACHED EITHER BY MY EMAIL ADDRESS CONNOR@TIRERACK.COM OR AT 1-800-428-8355 X269.

CONNOR

The Honda OEM S-02s, for the S2000, are only made in two sizes: 205/55/16 (for the front) and 225/50/16 (for the rear). Unless Honda starts offering larger factory wheels as an option on the S2000 then I seriously doubt Bridgestone will make any other sizes. You might want to look at Yoko A520s, Dunlop SP8000s, or the Bridgestone RE71s.

the tire sizes needed for the 18" wheels are 215/40-18 and 245/35-18R. however, i do not have any tires of any brand available in these sizes.

Connor,

Thanks for the post!

I am already a very satisfied customer of The Tire Rack as I have outfitted 2 of my cars with your steel wheel/snow tire special winter tire packages.

Since I plan to keep my S2000 for many years to come, you will now be getting an annuity from me for stock replacement tires on my S2000.

I look forward to speaking with you in the near future.

Thanks again, Connor!
