This is an unsolicited endorsement of the MuZMat.

GET YOURSELF A MuZMat.

If you're a new owner, take the advice of someone who's been there. In six months time you'll be kicking yourself whilst looking at your scratched rear window and saying "Why didn't I fork out for that MuZMat".

PS> Muz, I'll pick up my commission on Monday

PPS> Just kidding. I have no interest in this product other than I coined the name after receiving mine and thinking Muz should be immortalised.

What is the MuzMat and how does it stop the rear window from getting cratched?

Thanks AusS2000. Very nice of you to say so.

I have 2 spaces left in Group Buy #8.

David - the roof well mat protects your plastic window against scratching from the roof well when the top is down.

Here's the link if you're interested.

And don't forget the other half of the problem solver...the "Miata Tube" to prevent creased windows. No scratches/no creases....:

I made my own window tube for about $5 and 5 minutes of work. Get yourself a length of wooden dowel or PVC pipe. Get some PVC pipe closed cell foam insulation. Insert dowel in foam. Trim foam to fit. Wrap tube with a snazzy soft material of your choice. Done! I went with a red velvet to match my paint. $5 bucks.

OK, I see what it is ... I never looked into the well where the roof folds (maybe I should :-) ... so how much is it?
