Default Protecting the rear plastic window

Any ideas on protecting the rear plastic window when the top is down? What can be used to line the well and what are the dimensions--anybody know?

BMW recommends to use a rolled up towel when you fold the top down. ( goes on the outside of the window ) so when it folds, the towel will prevent creases.

Click on the Muz Mat banner at the bottom of this page. He makes a wonderful accessory that addresses the problem.

I live in Boca and have a Muz mat. I also have static cling tint on the outside of the window. Let me know if you would like to check it out and we can meet up somewhere.

Use a Muz mat in the roof well for the inside of the window and use a towel on the outside of the window to prevent creasing when it is folded.

Though not anywhere near as nice as Muz's solution, I made this for $2.10

Cut a piece of stiff cardboard for the backing, bought soft flannel from the fabric store and simply duct-taped it to the cardboard (just wrapped the material over the edge and taped on the bottom, a couple layers on top to make it cushiony). Four little pieces of velcro hold it down on the deck. I was bored one day............
