Default Audio System Question

My 2000 only has a 2 speaker system, and while it sounds alright, i wanna kinda improve the sound to get it louder and get a better treble/bass balance.....any suggestions?

You should post this in the Electronics Forum, but i'm sure one of the moderators will switch it over soon neways. As to your question, everything is user preference. If you look at some peoples setup, they can cost thousands of dollars. What are you looking for and how much are u looking to spend? You can start with easy stuff like a deck, swap out stock speakers, then move to subs if you want. But it can get pretty costly. Do some research on different things and see how much your willing to spend.

One of Lucid's rear speaker kits would be a good place to start. The radio in the S2000 has two sets of outputs(i.e front and rear), but only connects one to speakers. Lucid's kits plug in to the stock harness and allow you to use the other 1*(Left + Right) that is unused.

Not the solution of choice for the true stereophile, but great bang for the buck. And I doubt if anyone can create a really great audio enviroment in an open roadster at freeway speeds with trucks in the next lane.
