When you lower the covertible top, the driver and passanger windows automatically come down. Well this morning the driver window only dropped about an inch and stopped. This is the 2nd time its happened to me. First time I was still under warranty and went to the dealer and they replaced a module or something in the driver door. Well its a year later and I'm out of warranty and the problem has came back.

Anyone know what part they replace so that I can order the part and replace it myself?

It is TSB 01008 https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/88/1/1/

PM emc2, he was selling a simple mod that would fix this once and for all. It is very cheap. There is a thread on it, but I am too tired to search for it.

I just got this fixed on my car last week under warranty. The receipt says the part number is 739875 and is called "REGULATOR ASSY-, L-". I don't know if this is the official part number or not though.

I would try to get it fixed for free. Obviously it is a problem that is recognized by Honda, and They've done nothing to prevent it from happening again.

I hear that the dealer may grant you a "goodwill" service.

Problem will most likely return no matter who fixes it. I'd hate to screw up the door by trying to take it apart myself.

Mine is doing the same thing. Lower the top and the window goes down about three inches then stops. If you hit the top down switch it lowers it gradually about two inches each time. You have to use the driver's side door switch to get it down all the way. A minor inconvenience though I might have them look at it anyway. I hate taking the door off because they never seem to be as tightly assembled following the work.

I started having this problem about 2 months ago...
When I lower the top the driver window only lowers about 2-3 inches..
If I stop and continue to lower the top then it goes down all the way.

Same with the auto down from the door switch, I have to hit it about 2 or 3 times before it goes all the way down (defeats the autodown feature)

I guess I'll go by the dealer...
