Default Auto height HID adjustment...

The dealership told me that the S comes with auto height HID adjustment on the S. This way, even with a heavily loaded trunk, you will not blind cars coming to you. Is this correct?

...what? You've been had. Our HID lights are stationary. Mr. Salesman might have just read up on BMW and Mercedes' features and thought it'd be nice to incorporate it into his sales pitch.

Yeah, our lights definitely don't move.

You will notice beam of light moving up and down when you initially turn on HID if it is self leveling HID.

I guess its theoretically possible to load up our little trunk w/enough weight to compress our stiff suspension to the point that the lights pointed up, but who carrys around lead ingots?

it's too much weight, too expensive, too complicated, etc. not worth it for this car, and that's probably the reason why it's not there.

besides, those self-leveling hid's suck, they don't ever self level in time.

you should say, "OMG, are you serious???!!!! Show it to me! I love that stuff! You got yourself a sale if you could just show it to me".

Then watch him get all excited and fumble through the owners manual, ask other people and eventually give up and tell you it doesn't, then you say "man, what's wrong with you. You just ruined my day. And it's my birthday too! I will never forgive you for this. You're the worst sales person I've ever met. And you make baby jesus cry." and leave.

LOL man, I don't care who you are, that's funny right thare~
