Speaking of the brick wall...

One time I was taking off at the light when I accidently stalled I instantly started the car and floored it before someone could honk at me. Right when I hit 6k, the car just cut out for some reason. I seriously thought I was gonna fly out through the windsheild, it was so violent! lol. Anyways, my question is why did it cut out?? The car was fully warmed up.
