Braking and blipping
With a meer 600 miles on my new Silver/Black, my only disappointment is that I cannot find a way to blip the throttle while braking. There seems to be an awful lot of space between the brake and throttle preventing "heel and toeing, or toe and heeling" as I am used to doing it. Any suggestions ?
Do a search and you will find endless suggestions. You might find it easier if someone demonstrates the technique in person however. I have no problem despite my narrow feet and the pedal spacing. I just rotate my foot counterclockwise, brake with the ball of my foot and blip the throttle with my heel. It is second nature now.

There's some in-car footage of the S2000 driver downshifting, should help you out.

Many drivers use the right side of the right foot to blip the throttle. With a size 9 foot, I can't seem to do it. What I do is rotate my right heel, like svann, counterclock wise, with my forefoot on the brake. The hardest thing to master is to not reduce the pressure on the brake as you are doing this.
I find it pretty easy to heel-toe in the S2K, and I'm only a size 9. Just use the ball of your foot on the right edge of the brake, then tweak your heel over and press down with your heel to blip the gas. In my previous car, I used to use the left part of my foot to brake, and the right side to blip the throttle by kinda rolling my ankle to the right, but the S2K pedals are too far apart for that. If any of you guys watch the Initial D anime, they show a good example of heel-toe'ing in the intro ...
Dude, you can't be serious. The S2K is one of the easiest cars to heel-toe in. I try to do it in my Prelude, and I have to practically turn my whole foot sideways. Very bad for the knees. On the S2K, it's just too easy.

if you come from a Miata, I can see how blipping can be difficult to do in this car, where the pedals seem distant. otherwise... I dont know what you are saying. drive it a while, and work on it in this car before putting on different pedals or adjusting your own with some contraption.
