12000 miles on mine, and it was slipping. Replaced it with an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. I got the original clutch back and it was in really bad shape, almost down to the rivets. I have driven manuals most of my life, one thing that I noticed was how much harder my stock clutch was to push in compared to other s2000's. Maybe had something to do with it, and I don't do clutch dumps, but do drive aggressively at autoX and track days.

35,000 miles when I decided to upgrade to ACT, for no reason at all...stock clutch held up fine with all kinds of drag racing.

Either the manufacturing tolerances of the S2000 clutch is pretty bad/inconsistent, or driving style really does matter...

I've replaced the clutch every 40k miles once at 40k once at 80k and I'll be doing it again soon. I think its because I down shift to slow the car and don't rev match..

^ Why not? It's much kinder to your drivetrain.

Nice bump to a 9 year old thread. There ought to be some real input on clutch life after that amount of time!

still on the stock clutch.
119k
I drive the car hard too.
Rev match, heel-toe a lot.

It's definitely not as firm as it used to be, but I have no real issues to speak of. I'll change it here sooner or later.

many many owners are getting or on their way to 100k mi clutch life.

my ap1 had 67K on the odo with 3 years of autocrossing (launch at 6K), aggressive street driving and winter driven when i sold earlier this year. the clutch showed no signs of slipping and i had no doubt the clutch would have reached the 100k mark had i kept the car.

oh, and A LOT of parallel parking.
