I have an 07; original owner. I replaced mine with all oem components at ~85k miles. I don't launch or clutch kick the car. I rev match and heel-toe the car. I now have ~110k miles on thr car and it slips between 3rd and 4th gear -at the top of the rpm band- at WOT. The mechanic I took my car to for the clutch job told me he didn't resurface the flywheel because it appeared that it didn't need it. I'm guessing that's the cause for my clutch being prematurely worn.

Hopefully they can redo the job under warranty because of their lazyness. How much was the job?

I paid $350 for the labor. It was a private mechanic. I'm not taking my car back to him. Not only did he botch the job, but he also managed to burn the interior plastic with his cigarette. It's just one of those live and learn deals. Lesson learned: Don't cheap out on the S2000.
