So buying their insurance is increasing the chances of everyone getting tickets
Since 1992 my state of Nevada still uses Ka and K. No laser what so ever.

Go into California and it's most Ka and Laser. I've been lit up by laser and also had the person ahead of be lit up. Both times I was notified by my RD. When I was lit up I wasn't pulled over, and when the car beside me; they were. Both times in California.

It still strikes me as odd we're worried about speed, when most accidents aren't the result of greater speed.

i don't think it has anything to do about being worried, but more that it's a revenue generator. Look at the UK, for example. Speed cameras and whatnot.
